Swedish road trip

Here's a few shots from my trip to Sweden, stunning views but rough roads (damn snow tyres). More shots to come of the longboarders I met, unfortunately when we were getting pissed, not skating.

Experiment

I wanted to see if you can turn a super stable DH deck into a super pumping city cruiser using a carving undercarriage .

Here it is, Phil's DH and my Seismics with a 45° front plate (white springs) and a 30° back plate (red springs) plus a little wedge in the front.

Outcome: It works! Good fun, pumps like a dream and so low you can almost walk with one foot on the board through crowds. Just watch out for speed bumps, sorry Phil.

Verdict: I still love my spooky!

Exning Reccy

Rick found a nice little hill near Newmarket, I didn't have my helmet with me and running on 78A bushings so I didn't hit it too hard at all and still reached 25 mph. I think it's worth a look on the downhill boards, it's lovely and smooth and has an opposite side that looks a lot hairier.

Video is a bit jumpy but you get the idea.

Cadwell Update

I got an email today, we're back on for 15th November, got to wait all summer!

Hello people!

You are recieving this information as you bought a ticket for the Cadwell track day. As you know this was cancelled due to gnarly weather, and track conditions. The event has been rescheduled for november 15th 2009.

You have two options regarding your ticket.

1) You can keep your ticket, it will be valid for the november event. You dont need to contact us.

2) You can request a refund, to do this simply call the Lush office (01179055185) with your name, ticket number and the card that you used to pay for the original transaction.

We do not store customer card details, so unfortunately we are unable to perform refunds by email request, as we need to enter card information to process the refund.



Further details about the November event will be published on the Lush website in due course
